O sige start ako:

Sa ngayon pinapraktis namin, dalawang bago (at least for us): "Daan ng Bayan" at "Sanlibong Buhay". We'll sing these songs sa Mass during the Filipino Missionaries in Japan (Filmis) gathering here.

Yes Kuya Koenji, we've experienced it na pero may twist. Naalala ko yung song nung binili ko yung God of Silence album. Pagbabalik yung kanta. Prinactice namin yung piyesa a long time ago kaso hindi naman namin kinanta sa parish kasi naantok yung karamihan sa'min dun sa kanta, medyo mabagal kasi yung tempo na ginawa nung cm namin. hehe... mga pasaway tlaga kami..

Anyways po, papractice-in namin tonight yung Mabuti Ang Panginoon. Kasi this Sunday (up until next week), Filipino mass yung nakuha namin kaya dapat lahat sa line-up Filipino din. Kaya rin namin siya papractice-in kasi gusto naming pagsolohin yung isa naming Alto. Hindi kasi bilib yung iba sa'min sa "regalo" ni Lord kasi kaya we deviced a way na kung saan lahat ng members may kantang pagsosolohan at para makita na din nila kung ano ang feedback ng tao sa gift na ipinagkaloob ni Lord. :) Saka futuristic na din yung pagpractice ng kanta para sa March 12 service namin sa SBNP, Filipino mass din kasi 'yun. ;) Pero para naman majustify why namin kakantahin 'yon (baka kasi isipin nung iba ang babaw ng dahilan namin, huhuhu :(), gusto namin marelate sa tao na kahit anong mangyari, andiyan pa din si Lord.

Also don't rely too much on its accuracy dahil limited talaga 'yung pinapakinggan lang from the mp3. Iba talaga 'yung manggagaling from the original arranger. Sana nga mag-offer ang Bukas Palad ng notes for vocal arrangement ng ibang LYPBH songs (Earthkeeper, Nasa Palad Mo, Come to My Aid, atbp.). Laking tuwa siguro ng BP onliners and of course ng buong sambayanan hanggang dito sa Tokyo ... wishful thinking lang 'yan, pero sana nga magkatotoo. :)

Hindi kse sila basta nag-share LYPBH songs, lalo na "earthkeeper" because of copy right issue. Pero baka they're working it out na the songbooks who knows? no one can tell. Mag-wait na lang tayo all lalo na makita nila my market talaga for it :) Sa choir namin hindi kami basta din nagbibigay ng mga vocal / choral arrangements hindi dahil maramot kami or selfish un nga kse may copy right laws eh,mahirap na. Pero it depends pa rin yun kung kilala namin talaga yun tao o yun org./choir involved:)

Sa parish po namin, kapag easter vigil, yung blessing of the Paschal Candle, sa school ground ginagawa, then papasok lahat ng tao sa loob ng church sabay sabay along w/ the priest, yung mga tao uupo na, then yung priest and sacristans magproprocession patungong altar (wala pa ring ilaw, sa gloria sinisindihan), habang procession may inaawit po yung mga (senior citizens) choir na may tono ng "Purihin ang Panginoon", except walang verses at tungkol sa light yung lyrics, then paulit-ulit hanggang mag sign of the cross na. Then exultet. Then lahat ng psalms kinakanta. Eto po yung mga naalala kong psalms nila:

Ang Panginoon ang Aking Pastol (Psalm 23)
Awit ng Paghahangad (Psalm 63)

Also don't rely too much on its accuracy dahil limited talaga 'yung pinapakinggan lang from the mp3. Iba talaga 'yung manggagaling from the original arranger. Sana nga mag-offer ang Bukas Palad ng notes for vocal arrangement ng ibang LYPBH songs (Earthkeeper, Nasa Palad Mo, Come to My Aid, atbp.). Laking tuwa siguro ng BP onliners and of course ng buong sambayanan hanggang dito sa Tokyo ... wishful thinking lang 'yan, pero sana nga magkatotoo. :)
