Mass Member Pruning, Posted 13.04.02 #1
A long overdue pruning was done to the member database.

A member account would be deleted if any one of the following conditions were met:

1. While lurking is allowed, I think it's reasonable to delete a user if their account wasn't "active" for at least two years AND hadn't any made ANY posts since they joined.

2. All users from the banned group

3. All users that hadn't completed the registration (via confirmation email). This a good thing as it releases the email addresses in case of an irrecoverable registration error - and will allow them to re-register with the same email.

That said, more than 6000 accounts were deleted just as an FYI

Webmaster, it's about time na nga. Pero look out, meron akong PM sa yo about members na di makapagpost. Baka na deactivate ang account nila, dahil di na sila newbie.
I am not who you think I am because I do not pretend to be somebody.
Do not assume that I know everything because I am a nobody - Alexander

Alex see #1. There are two simultaneous conditions there: No posts AT ALL since registration and if the account is more than two years old.

So kung newbie ka pero relatively new, even if you lurk for a year you're still safe.

Kung meron ka nang posts - automatic exempted ka kahit nag-decide kang wag nang mag participate forever. You can always come back and resume posting anytime (or never)
