We tried singing this before, but unfortunately, the V1, V2, Bridge, V1, V2 version was too long, so we never sang it again. How do you sing it? And is this allowed on all seasons? (Well, except Lent)

In my opinion, this song is like Fr. Mano's Humayo't Ihayag! Napansin ko ang kanyang song structure pattern ng 2 awiting ito ay magkakapareho. And since may shortcut version ang "Humayo't Ihayag", why don't you try it also sa "O Bayan Ng Diyos"? V1, Bridge, V2... Try it... I suggest you listen to the Humayo't Ihayag (TnB version) and try to follow the pattern sa "O Bayan Ng Diyos".

The music video sequences it as
V1, Bridge, V1, V2

I once attended a graduation ceremony where in they sung only V1 and V2, and then inserted the coda already to finish it:
"Pag-ibig Niya'y kay lalim, kay sigla"

Kinakanta namin to ng V1 at V2 lang tapos naka transpose na ang chords 1 note higher. mahaba na kasi pag may bridge pa.
